We proper bought a van plus did not want to spend $1500 because of the in the sky dvd player. I researched portable dvds thoroughly plus decided upon this compromise. Picture is not inasmuc as good inasmuc as some, however sound is decent, plus set is built to withstand some abuse. I tested battery life, plus inasmuc as expected, did not get anywhere close the 13 hour battery life advertised. I second-hand the daylight setting because of brightness plus had the volume along to max level to recreate real use conditions. The dvd player lasted 5 hours. I am sure if you use the “moonlight” setting (darker pic), you will get longer battery life, however because is not how we will be using the dvd player. We want the best pic possible. So am happy withy this player provided that far. We second-hand the mojo dvd mount because of between the fore seats plus the set works well-the mount is easily installed/removed. Panasonic DVD-LS86 Player could be improve materials, however we were happy to get away from the hanging bag option. Also, the audio out port is directly in the footpath of the velcro attachment upon the mojo, provided that not ideal, however the port can still be utilized.
