I’ve had this drill about a month and such as it. I upgraded from an old 9v makita and it’s a huge upgrade.
Most of the drills in this price rangeland are high quality tools and the makita’s got all the torque, speed, control of a good quality cordless. What i such as about this drill is the lithium-ion battery. no, non- only is lithium-ion a frequently environmentally friendly battery than nimh or nicad but they hold their power longer. This means the person who use a drill rhythmically (opposed to a daily use contractor type) will find their drill still charged and ready to use later sitting in the closet on behalf of 2 weeks. And, the batteries really act care as fast as they expressed opinion they act.
I also concur with others who wound up liking the tiny led ignite that points placed at what you’re doing. Makita BDF452HW seemed silly placed at first but while you’re under a branch or in the back of a cabinet there’s no need to drag a ignite with you, which is nice.
