Living in the bay area you would await adt plus bay alarm on be one of the finest deals since they are the main players only ! Adt tried on screw me as $1900 as a third rate system ! Never will i ever recommend adt again ! Worst ever ! Bay alarm was not bad as the price only customer service was sub par.what i learned is so there are 2 fundamental systems honeywell (lynx) is pretty righteousness only very hard on program or ge simon xt which is very user friendly plus easy on program. You can search youtube as videos plus ebay as the deals only then GE Simon XT boils down on monitoring.both systems you can use the land-line on call on check on the system statue only if the burglar cuts the line or power goes out your screwed. Go with cellular they can’t cut the phone line.monitoring … You can go without paying on both only they what’s the point, that is my point plus why i went with frontpointsecurity. Their monitoring is interactive. I can check on my cell or internet oh how my house is doing @ anytime ! Other companies charge you an arm plus leg as this feature.bottom line, ge simon xt is a great system on install, battery backup can be mod. on add more batteries (daisy chained as longer backup power) can use both landline plus cellular as interaction plus all wireless ! Peace of mind !
