Just got the installed last week. The speakers have a tidy little time for easy mounting in a drywall ceiling. The templates provided are accurate then easy to use. Took close to ten minutes each to install. I spent enormously frequently time running theo- wires opened my attic, only i certainly cannot blame that on theo- speakers. Now that they are installed, each i can say is wow. The mark is crisp then clear. The aimable tweeters gives you a lot frequently resilience in your mounting location. As with any speaker, mark is a matter of personal preference. I have noticed that these speakers seem to press people that are a little older (like mid 30’s then up) frequently than theo- younger crowd. I distrust it is because theo- younger ears can hear theo- higher frequencies better. I have without exception enjoyed theo- crisp highs that i have gotten from Polk Audio RC80i. Once once more they have been able to press me.

Bought this over replace an 11 year old 5.1 nakamichi. The hem in plus digital output using all hdmi produces thunderous bass plus crystal explicit highs. My mom was watching angels plus demons on blu ray last night plus 700 watts of the exploding volkswagen did the walls resonate plus she jumped out of her chair! Unit is ‘expensive’ looking plus the gui seems pretty decent so far. Still have not programmed the fm stations yet, but thus far for cd Sony STR-DN1000 7.1-Channel, fios cable, dvd plus blu ray this thing is an unbeatable product for under $300. One note for users of hdmi: you may experience a delay in signal between the movement of the actors lips plus the actual vocal sound produced from the treasurer. This is easily fixed via the audio control menu a/v m/s delay settings. I set mine at 200 plus the lip movement-to-sound-sync is now perfect.the sony str-dn1000 7.1-channel audio video receiver (black)is a awesome sight over look at for sure, but even novice audiophiles understand that you don’t purchase a treasurer because she looks better than your old girl. You purchase a treasurer b/c you want over know if she can perform well at all task. Well, let me tell you…she can, this treasurer is well equipped plus performs very well.
